Goodyear has named Grégory Boucharlat as senior vice president, Global Commercial, marking a strategic step in aligning its commercial tyre operations across international markets. Based in Brussels, Boucharlat will report directly to CEO and President Mark Stewart and joins Goodyear’s senior leadership team with immediate effect.

Strategic Coordination Across Commercial Operations

In his new role, Boucharlat is tasked with overseeing the global strategic direction of Goodyear’s commercial tyre business. This includes continued leadership of the company’s growing Tires-as-a-Service (TaaS) division — a business model focused on integrating digital services with tyre solutions for commercial fleets.

His expanded remit reflects Goodyear’s efforts to create a more unified approach across regional commercial operations, particularly as fleet customers increasingly demand scalable, digitally-enabled tyre services across borders.

Deep EMEA Experience and Global Scope

Boucharlat brings more than 30 years of experience within Goodyear, having built his career in the European truck tyre segment before progressing to senior roles such as vice president of Commercial EU. More recently, he led the TaaS business globally, gaining operational insight across multiple markets outside Europe.

CEO Mark Stewart highlighted Boucharlat’s ability to manage complex commercial portfolios and to lead with a customer-centric and digital-first mindset. His promotion signals Goodyear’s intent to accelerate its connected services and expand market share within the global fleet segment.

As fleets demand predictive maintenance, data analytics, and remote monitoring, leadership with deep experience in both tyre performance and digital delivery is critical. This move also reflects broader tyre industry trends towards centralised global strategies and smarter mobility services.
