Goodyear Farm Tires scales up in France to support Carlstar rollout and faster logistics.

Titan strengthens European base with expanded logistics hub in Flers

Goodyear Farm Tires has expanded its warehousing capacity at the Titan France headquarters in Flers, Normandy, nearly doubling space to support increasing demand across Europe.

The move is part of Titan International’s broader European strategy and follows its acquisition of the Carlstar Group in February 2024. The expanded facility—boosted by more than 1,500 square feet—will help reduce delivery lead times for agricultural customers and distributors, while also supporting the rollout of Carlstar products in the region.

Goodyear Farm Tires’ European Sales Director, Lindsay Hart, said the investment reflects a long-term commitment to operational excellence and customer service across the continent.

“The larger warehouse capacity will ensure we can offer a broader range and higher volume of stock to be immediately available,” said Hart. “That will ensure faster delivery to our European customers and extremely competitive prices due to lower transport costs.”

Carlstar integration and product diversification

Carlstar’s addition to Titan International’s portfolio diversifies the group’s product offering, extending it beyond core agricultural tyres. The brand manufactures tyres for outdoor power equipment, trailers, power sports, and niche applications in agriculture and construction.

The newly expanded site will help Titan consolidate its European supply chain for both Goodyear Farm Tires and Carlstar products, improving availability and logistics efficiency.

LSW development and local assembly in France

This is the latest in a series of strategic moves by Titan in France. In 2023, Goodyear Farm Tires established a Low Sidewall (LSW) Technology Development Centre at the same site in Flers. This facility now handles the assembly and customisation of LSW wheel and tyre assemblies for the European market.

Previously produced exclusively in the US, LSW assemblies offer agronomic benefits such as reduced soil compaction and improved crop yields, operating at up to 40% lower inflation pressures than standard farm tyres.

By shifting production and assembly to France, Goodyear Farm Tires can now offer shorter lead times and greater flexibility for European customers.

This expansion supports a broader trend of localisation and logistics optimisation in the agricultural tyre sector. By increasing warehouse capacity and introducing local assembly for advanced tyre technologies like LSW, Goodyear Farm Tires enhances service delivery and sustainability. The move also illustrates how strategic M&A, like the Carlstar acquisition, is reshaping product portfolios across agri, construction, and specialist segments.
