Ecsta Sport Tyres Put to the Test During Kumho Driving Event.

Real-World Testing Meets Track Performance

Kumho Tyre UK recently hosted a customer experience day at Oulton Park, giving guests from across the UK a chance to evaluate the brand's high-performance tyres in both everyday and high-speed conditions.

The event featured hands-on driving sessions using vehicles fitted with Kumho's Ecsta Sport and Ecsta Sport S tyres. Attendees experienced the tyres on public-road style handling tracks and under racetrack pressures, offering a complete picture of performance, control, and responsiveness.

A Day Behind the Wheel

Participants tested a variety of vehicles, from sports cars to more conventional models, gaining direct insight into the tyres' behaviour under braking, cornering, and acceleration. Kumho reports that driver feedback was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting grip stability and steering confidence as key strengths.

The Ecsta Sport series represents Kumho's ultra high-performance offering, aimed at drivers seeking dynamic handling and road feedback. Designed for dry and wet conditions alike, the tyres are developed with sports saloon and performance vehicle fitments in mind.

Building Brand Engagement Through Experience

The event was led by Kumho's UK and Ireland team, headed by Executive Managing Director Richard Lyons. The day served not only as a product demonstration but also a brand touchpoint, reinforcing Kumho's investment in both product development and customer relationships.
