Kumho Tyre UK is set to make its first appearance at the Road Transport Expo (RTX) 2025 at Stoneleigh Park from 24–26 June, aiming to deliver a clear message to fleet operators: reduce total tyre costs without compromising on safety or performance.
At Stand R37, Kumho will present a selection of five commercial vehicle (CV) tyres developed for steer, drive and all-position applications. The spotlight will be on the XA31 and XD31, two of the manufacturer’s latest models engineered to optimise grip, mileage and fuel efficiency.
■ XD31 (Drive Axle): Suited for both regional and highway use, the XD31 features 3D interlocking sipes and Kumho’s RevealiX Groove technology to maintain grip and drainage throughout the tyre’s lifecycle. The inclusion of a dual tie-bar design boosts traction and directional stability, while the low rolling resistance compound contributes to improved fuel economy and reduced CO₂ emissions.
■ XA31 (All Position): Built for versatility, the XA31 integrates a directional tread and Tread Wear Balanced Bridge to prevent irregular wear patterns. With enhanced stone rejection and a compound tuned for quiet operation, the XA31 is aimed at delivering a consistent, durable solution for mixed fleet environments.
All five tyres on show: XA31, XD31, XS10, MD41, and MA12, have been developed to support safe operation, high mileage potential and casing durability. Kumho’s approach to commercial fleet tyres includes multi-life capability, making them suitable for retreading and further extending lifecycle value.
Kumho’s team will be available at the expo to provide guidance on tyre selection, fitting, and maintenance strategies aimed at boosting fleet efficiency. The stand will also serve as a platform for Kumho to engage with fleet operators and highlight how its CV range supports operational safety and long-term value.
The use of advanced tread patterns and low rolling resistance compounds reflects wider sector moves toward reducing emissions and extending product lifespan, especially critical for commercial fleets under increasing economic and environmental pressure.
