TyreSafe has announced the winners of its 2025 Awards, recognising organisations and individuals making measurable contributions to tyre safety through enforcement, education, retail leadership, and technological innovation.

The awards were presented at TyreSafe’s Annual Briefing, attended by nearly 200 stakeholders from the tyre and road safety sectors. The event focused on integrating tyre safety more effectively into the national road safety narrative, highlighting collaboration from local communities to national authorities.

Chair of TyreSafe, Stuart Lovatt, praised the winners’ dedication to saving lives through practical and forward-thinking initiatives. “These exceptional organisations and individuals demonstrate the power of dedication and innovation in improving tyre safety,” he said.

Compliance & Enforcement

Lancashire County Council Road Safety Team
Recognised for a council-wide tyre safety programme including roadside inspections, fleet safety tools, and public engagement in partnership with TyreSafe.

Retailer

Merityre Specialists
Completed over 20,000 free tyre checks in 2024, recorded an 11% rise in tyre maintenance services, and reached more than 1.4 million users digitally.

Independent Retailer

Eden Tyres & Servicing
Delivered tyre safety content via YouTube, Facebook and TikTok, gaining trust among consumers and national media coverage for clear communication.

Tyre Manufacturer

Pirelli UK Tyres Ltd
Recognised for combining community education via sports club outreach with continuous product safety development in its UK operations.

Innovation & Technology

Anyline GmbH
Awarded for AI-powered mobile tyre scanning, enabling fast, accurate inspections and tamper-proof digital records for better roadworthiness checks.

The Motor Ombudsman

ATMA (India)
The Automotive Tyre Manufacturers’ Association (India) delivered safety training to 20,000+ participants, checked 30,000+ tyres, and launched an Ideathon to develop future safety leaders.
