Vaculug has announced several leadership changes across its Off-The-Road (OTR) and regional operations, underlining a continued focus on strategic growth and customer service delivery across the UK.
Alan Robin has been promoted to Head of OTR, marking a key milestone in Vaculug’s expansion within the heavy-duty earthmover segment. With over 20 years of experience in the sector and six years at Vaculug, Robin will now lead investment and operational developments across the OTR portfolio.
Michael Evans, Operations Director, said the appointment was a recognition of Robin’s “commitment and proven expertise” and noted that the new role would see him spearhead efforts to elevate service delivery and customer satisfaction during a period of strong growth.
Robert Baxter, who has spent nearly five years with Vaculug and brings over four decades of experience, has been promoted to Head of Operations and OTR for Scotland. His appointment follows Vaculug’s reorganisation of its Scottish operations, aiming to create stronger leadership coverage in a growing regional market.
Baxter’s responsibilities now include overseeing both operational activities and OTR services throughout Scotland. The company says his in-depth industry knowledge and leadership will be critical in supporting customers and ensuring high-quality service during this growth phase.
As part of the same restructuring effort, Vaculug has appointed Scott McIntosh as Regional Operations Manager for Scotland. He joins with substantial experience in tyre operations and logistics, and will work closely with Baxter to strengthen Vaculug’s footprint and responsiveness in the region.
Marcus Kirkness, National Operations Manager, welcomed the appointment, saying McIntosh’s approach “aligns perfectly with Vaculug’s strategic vision for growth.”
