Bridgestone has been confirmed as the exclusive tyre supplier for Lamborghini’s new Fenomeno, a limited-edition supercar celebrating two decades of in-house design at Sant’Agata Bolognese. With just 29 units produced, the Fenomeno becomes Lamborghini’s fastest model to date, powered by a 1080 CV V12 engine.
As Lamborghini’s Official Technical Partner, Bridgestone has developed bespoke Potenza Sport tyres tailored to the Fenomeno’s record-breaking performance. The car accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 2.4 seconds and 0–200 km/h in just 6.7 seconds, making precise tyre engineering critical.
The Fenomeno fitments include 265/30 ZRF21 (front) and 355/25 ZRF22 (rear) tyres, available with Bridgestone’s Run Flat Technology (RFT). RFT allows drivers to continue driving up to 80km at speeds of 80kph after a puncture, maintaining control even in emergency conditions.
For track-focused driving, Lamborghini customers can also opt for semi-slick Bridgestone Potenza tyres. These high-grip variants are homologated for road use but designed to deliver peak performance under racing conditions.
Radoslaw Bolkowski, Vice President OE Sales at Bridgestone EMEA, commented: “With the Fenomeno, our team had the challenge of unleashing the full potential of Lamborghini’s most powerful V12 ever – and they’ve delivered. The custom-engineered Bridgestone Potenza tyres offer the control, grip and precision needed to enhance this car’s exceptional capabilities – on both the road and track.”
Christian Mastro, Lamborghini’s Marketing Director, added: “Tyres are a vital part of how a supercar performs: outside of technical updates, 70 per cent of the improvements in these cars today come from advances in the tyres they sit on. Bridgestone’s bespoke Potenza line-up ensures that every drive in the Fenomeno can deliver against this vehicle’s stunning speed and power.”
The Fenomeno continues a close partnership that has seen Bridgestone supply tyres for the entire Lamborghini supercar line-up, including the Huracán STO, Tecnica, Sterrato, Revuelto and Temerario.
Bridgestone developed the Fenomeno tyres at its Italian R&D facilities, using Virtual Tyre Development (VTD) technology. This approach reduces the need for physical prototypes by around 200 units, cutting development time by half and lowering raw material use and CO2 emissions by up to 60%.
