ETB Autocentres has partnered with Tec4 to introduce a range of engine and fuel treatment products at all its locations, aimed at enhancing internal combustion vehicle servicing. The agreement marks a strategic move to respond to customer feedback and support garage technicians with added value solutions.
Tec4’s petrol and diesel system cleaners are now available across the ETB network. These detergent-based, non-combustible formulations are designed to clean the fuel system from tank to exhaust, reduce harmful build-up, and protect engine components from corrosion.
The treatments address common engine efficiency issues such as emissions and fuel consumption. Benefits for drivers include better MPG, smoother performance, and potential long-term maintenance savings.
ETB’s decision follows sustained engagement with centre managers and technicians, where demand for non-gimmick, results-driven treatments was highlighted. Tec4 has built a reputation within the professional motor trade for offering transparent solutions without marketing overclaim.
Tec4 Managing Director Bob Welch stated that while profitability is important, improved customer satisfaction has been the standout benefit since launching the collaboration.
“We are very proud to be working with the team at ETB Autocentres and since launching the programme the feedback has been wholly positive. Improving profit is great but by far the biggest win has been the increase in customer satisfaction which is ultimately what drives business.”
Bob Welch, Managing Director of Tec4.
The partnership adds to ETB's line-up of premium aftermarket solutions, aligning with its strategy to support motorists and garage partners alike. Retail Director Paul Nunn commented that the move brings a new revenue stream while reinforcing the network’s commitment to service excellence.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Tec4 and bring their innovative engine and fuel treatments to the network. This collaboration not only enhances the range of solutions we offer to motorists but also provides an exciting new revenue stream for our partners. It’s all about giving our network the tools they need to deliver exceptional service while boosting their business potential."
ETB Autocentres’ Retail Director Paul Nunn.
While electric vehicle servicing is on the rise, internal combustion engine maintenance remains critical in the UK aftermarket. ETB’s adoption of Tec4 aligns with a broader trend of workshops seeking high-quality, evidence-based treatments to extend the life and performance of ICE vehicles during the transition to electrification.
