Two major names in the automotive aftermarket sector, National Oak Distributors (NOD) and Integrated Supply Network (ISN), have confirmed the completion of a strategic merger. The move brings together NOD, a leading US-based distributor of automotive paint, body and equipment (PBE), and ISN, a specialist in automotive tools and equipment distribution.

The newly merged business aims to provide increased value to customers and suppliers through a broader product portfolio, improved distribution capabilities and wider geographic coverage.

By uniting their operations, the companies believe they can offer enhanced service levels, faster delivery, and access to an expanded range of automotive tools, equipment, and PBE products.

The combined group will focus on three core benefits:

▪ Enhanced capabilities – Customers will have access to a larger range of products, technologies and services, supported by improved delivery times and customer service.

▪ Expanded opportunities – The merger opens access to new markets, sales channels, and product categories.

▪ A shared culture of excellence – Both companies bring a long-standing commitment to customer satisfaction, service standards and operational expertise.

NOD Founder and CEO, Geoffrey Peckham, who will lead the merged entity as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, commented:

“The combined strengths of National Oak Distributors and Integrated Supply Network will create a powerhouse in the automotive aftermarket distribution industry. This combination will enable us to leverage industry-leading teams, talent and expertise, expand our portfolio of innovative products and supply chain solutions, enhance our geographic reach, and grow the markets that we serve with the industry leading capabilities that National Oak Distributors and Integrated Supply Network have established in each of our 25+ years in business.”

ISN is currently a portfolio company of Freeman Spogli, a US-based growth investor in the consumer and distribution sectors. As part of the merger agreement, ISN shareholders, including Freeman Spogli, will hold a significant minority stake in the merged business.

In the UK, Integrated Supply Network operates as ISN Europe, trading under well-known names such as ISN Garage Assist, Tyre Bay Direct, and ToolTruck. It is not yet confirmed if the merger will result in any changes to UK operations.

The companies will now begin the process of integrating their teams and operations, with a focus on delivering seamless service and continuity to customers and supplier partners.
