NEXEN TIRE has appointed Mileage Tyres as its key distributor in Ireland, expanding the brand’s reach across the Republic. The move is designed to improve availability for dealers and consumers nationwide and strengthen Nexen’s European footprint. The appointment was first reported by trade outlet Tyrepress on 20 August 2025.
Mileage Tyres will coordinate supply of Nexen patterns to Irish retailers and fleets, centralising wholesale access and stock. For dealers, that should mean simpler sourcing, shorter lead times, and more consistent availability across core sizes. Tyrepress says the agreement covers Nexen’s product lines nationally.
Founded in 1986 and still family run, Mileage Tyres operates from a headquarters in Mullingar with depots in Athlone, Galway, and Navan, alongside wholesale services. Its network and local knowledge made it a logical partner for a national roll-out, according to company information.
The Irish distribution step follows a period of European expansion for Nexen. Recent Tyre News coverage highlighted record Q1 2025 revenue driven by European sales and OE supply, and retail team growth in Germany to meet rising demand. See our report on Nexen’s Q1 high and our piece on its German retail expansion for context.
Dealers seeking supply are expected to route orders via Mileage Tyres’ wholesale channels, with further details on roll-out, pricing, and programmes to follow from the companies. Mileage Tyres lists retail and wholesale contact points on its site.
Watch for onboarding communications to Irish dealers and possible marketing support around winter and all-season ranges. We will update on any fitment, stock, or programme specifics as they are confirmed.
