New CCD Wheel Alignment Systems from Supertracker Prioritise Space and Mobility
Supertracker, part of Straightset since 2022, launched its new-generation CCD wheel alignment systems — the STR130 TC and STR420 TC — at Automechanika Birmingham on 3 June 2025. The upgraded systems are designed to suit the demands of space-conscious, tech-forward workshops, with a cabinet-free design and Windows tablet integration.
Launched on the Straightset stand (X78, Hall 18), the STR130 TC (6-sensor) and STR420 TC (8-sensor) systems feature a sleek, manoeuvrable storage format. The shift from traditional cabinet-mounted setups to a tablet-controlled platform reflects the industry's move towards compact and connected workshop solutions.
The included WindowsTab, mounted via a magnetic case, gives technicians direct access to data under the vehicle. Supertracker’s familiar ‘hang on’ system remains in place, allowing rim-safe operation on wheels up to 27 inches.
■ WindowsTab with magnetic case for hands-on alignment
■ No cabinet or fixed PC – improved mobility and reduced footprint
■ 6 or 8 sensor CCD setup for flexibility across vehicle types
■ Larger wheel hangers standard, accommodating rims up to 27”
■ On-vehicle Bluetooth connectivity with before/after printout capability
Visitors to Automechanika UK 2025 had the opportunity to test the system live, with pre-orders available directly from the show floor. The live demos showcased how the space-saving design and improved user interface align with evolving workshop needs.
Straightset Managing Director Andrew Bates said the development was “a direct response to customer feedback,” enabling faster, smarter alignments without compromising accuracy.
