Alliance, the global agricultural and off-highway tyre brand, has unveiled its latest product, the Agri Nova, a next-generation R-1 Bias tyre designed to deliver enhanced productivity and durability for light-to-medium duty tractors.
The Agri Nova has been developed with the demands of contemporary farming firmly in mind. Alliance says the tyre addresses a broad range of operational needs, offering superior traction, improved ride comfort, an extended service life, and a distinctive visual identity to boot.
Dyutiman Chatterjee, Chief Technology Officer at Yokohama-ATG, said: "At Alliance, we are deeply invested in building innovative solutions that address the evolving needs of our customers. The launch of Agri Nova is a testament to our commitment to deliver state-of-the-art tractor tyres that unlock high performance in the field and on road alike."
The Agri Nova's standout feature is its engineered lug design. Alliance has developed a high-mass, three-angle lug geometry, combined with a higher lug count than the previous generation. The result, the company says, is superior grip in the field alongside greater driving comfort when running on the road, a balance that matters increasingly to operators who spend significant time in both environments.
Self-cleaning performance has also been prioritised. Angular tie bars, integrated multi-functional mud breakers on the lug face, and smooth cavity contours work together to clear debris efficiently, helping maintain stability and reduce costly downtime.
Soil compaction (a growing concern for farmers mindful of long-term land health) has been addressed through a square lug profile and wider tread width. The broader footprint helps distribute contact pressure more evenly across the ground, minimising the impact on soil structure.
Aesthetics have not been overlooked either. The tyre features size markings on the lugs for straightforward identification, while a unique three-spoke sidewall design incorporates the brand name, pattern, and size, making specification checks quick and easy in the field.
One of the most notable aspects of the Agri Nova launch is the sheer breadth of the range. Alliance is introducing 60 sizes and 111 individual SKUs from the outset, with further additions planned. Rim diameters span from 12 to 42 inches, covering multiple load and ply ratings along with both tubeless (TL) and tube-type (TT) configurations.
Alliance says this wide SKU strategy has been deliberately designed to simplify product selection for dealers and end users. The range covers both 2WD and MFWA tractors and is intended to meet the varied requirements of different applications and regional markets.
The Agri Nova is supported by Alliance's seven-year warranty, which the brand describes as best-in-class. The warranty reflects Alliance's broader commitment to durability, reliability, and customer confidence, qualities that are especially important for operators running equipment in demanding agricultural conditions.
Alliance has more than 70 years of heritage in the off-highway tyre sector, with manufacturing facilities and research capabilities underpinning a comprehensive portfolio of agricultural tyres sold worldwide.
