
Bridgestone EMEA has appointed Andy Mathias as head of marketing for North Europe, effective February 2025. He now oversees business marketing functions across 18 countries, including Germany, Poland and the UK. The promotion marks nearly 30 years with the company, highlighting continuity in leadership as the brand strengthens its regional presence.
Mathias joined Bridgestone in the 1990s and has held several commercial and marketing roles. His career has included leadership positions in fleet and retail marketing, where he has supported Bridgestone’s growth across the EMEA region.
The new role gives Mathias responsibility for marketing operations in Northern Europe, spanning Germany, Poland, the UK, and 15 additional markets. The remit covers brand, product, digital and trade marketing, as well as PR and communications.
“I’m pleased to share that since February, I’ve moved into a new role as Head of Marketing for Northern Europe,” Mathias wrote on LinkedIn. “I’m relishing the new challenge, and excited to work with an amazing, multicultural team. I’m also proud that even after 27 years at Bridgestone EMEA, I’m still getting opportunities to progress and challenge myself.”
Mathias will focus on aligning marketing strategy across countries, with particular attention to supporting fleets, dealers, and retail partners as Bridgestone rolls out new digital and sustainability-led services.
