GSF Car Parts has opened a new branch in Grimsby, adding another site to its fast-moving 2026 expansion programme. Based at Westside Business Park, the 4,382 sq ft facility extends the distributor’s footprint across the Humber region and gives garages in Grimsby, Goole, Lincoln and surrounding areas another source of same-day parts support.
The opening marks GSF’s seventh new branch of 2026, according to the company, and follows a wider plan to add around 20 sites this year. Tyre News previously reported on that national rollout in [GSF Car Parts targets 20 more branches in accelerated 2026 expansion] and on the company’s South-East growth in [GSF Car Parts opens new Basildon branch with exclusive launch offers]. Together, those moves point to a denser branch network built around local stockholding and quicker delivery to independent garages.
The Grimsby site has 11 full-time and two part-time employees, backed by six delivery vans and warehouse capacity designed to improve local parts availability. GSF said the branch will serve a wider catchment that reaches beyond Grimsby into neighbouring parts of Lincolnshire and the Humber corridor.
GSF used the launch to bring its DigiVan to Grimsby for the first time, with the vehicle visiting local garages as the branch opened for trading. The activation was tied to the company’s effort to build awareness among workshops and reinforce its local service offer from day one.
Matthew Parrott, Branch Manager at GSF Grimsby, said: “The whole team is genuinely excited to get started here in Grimsby. There’s so much opportunity in this area, from independent garages to major national accounts, and customers are already telling us how keen they are for us to begin trading.
“We’re backed by a fantastic regional and national support network that gives us everything we need to succeed. I have full confidence in this team to disrupt the local market with our unrivalled customer service, extensive catalogue and the support we bring to every customer.”
Steve Horne, CEO at GSF Car Parts, said: “The new branch strengthens our presence across the Humber region, giving us greater capacity to support the hardworking garages in and around Grimsby. With continued investment and more openings on the horizon, there’s never been a better time to make GSF your motor factor of choice as we continue to grow.”
For the aftermarket, the significance is less about floor space alone and more about network density. In regions where garages rely on rapid fulfilment, another branch can reduce delivery times, widen parts access and give workshops more confidence when booking repair work. That is particularly relevant in northern and coastal corridors where coverage gaps can slow response times. This latest move also strengthens GSF’s position across the Humber, where it is looking to build greater operational reach.
Steve Horne, chief executive of GSF Car Parts, said the new site gave the business greater capacity to support garages in and around Grimsby. He added that more investment and further openings remain in the pipeline. With seven branches already opened in 2026 and more planned, the Grimsby site looks like another step in a national expansion drive that is now moving at pace.
