Hankook Tyre UK has been announced as the official sponsor for the full 2025 Convoy Truck Show series, aligning its commercial tyre range with one of the UK’s most prominent truck event calendars. The sponsorship covers Convoy Cymru, Convoy Thruxton, and Convoy in the Park—each held in conjunction with the British Truck Racing Championships (BTRC).
The confirmed dates and locations for the 2025 Convoy Truck Shows are:
■ Convoy Cymru at Pembrey Circuit: 17–18 May
■ Convoy Thruxton at Thruxton Circuit: 5–6 July
■ Convoy in the Park at Donington Park: 9–10 August
These public-facing events combine truck exhibitions, live entertainment, and motorsport, raising funds for local charities through partnerships with associated shows such as the Devon Truck Show and Truck Show Cornwall.

Across the 2025 Convoy events, Hankook will present a range of tyres targeted at the fleet and commercial transport sector. These include:
■ SmartFlex AH51 – Steering axle tyre for long and regional haul, designed for sustained grip and mileage.
■ SmartFlex DH51 – Drive axle companion tyre with similar performance characteristics.
■ SmartFlex TH31 – Latest-generation trailer tyre in the same family.
■ Vantra Transit – New summer van tyre for light commercial vehicles.
Hankook will also highlight products from its Laufenn value-tier brand, such as:
■ LZ22 – All-weather drive axle tyre built for regional applications.
■ LF21 – All-position regional tyre with wear resistance.
■ LF95 – Durable trailer tyre with high mileage capabilities.
Other products on display include the Dynapro HP2 all-season SUV tyre and the iON evo SUV, a summer tyre engineered specifically for electric vehicles.
The partnership builds on Hankook’s existing involvement with the Devon Truck Show. Event Director Mike Quartley commented on the announcement, stating the extension of Hankook's support to all three major Convoy events was a natural next step, given the brand’s longstanding presence and value to the community-focused shows.
Hankook’s sponsorship signals its continued focus on the UK commercial vehicle sector, where tyre durability, grip, and total cost of ownership are critical factors for operators. By showcasing products tailored to both diesel and electric vehicle platforms, Hankook is also positioning itself for the growing shift toward EV adoption in commercial fleets. The inclusion of its Laufenn range further reflects the demand for cost-effective solutions across varied fleet sizes and applications.
