Leicester Tigers have appointed Kumho Tire as an official partner in a five-season agreement that places the tyre brand on the men’s matchday shirt from the 2025/26 season. The deal also covers pitch-side branding, stadium activations and joint promotional activity at Mattioli Woods Welford Road. The club announced the partnership on 4 September 2025, signalling fresh brand visibility for the South Korean manufacturer in UK rugby.
Under the new partnership, Kumho Tire branding will appear on Leicester Tigers’ men’s matchday shirt for the next five seasons. The agreement includes pitch-side inventory, in-stadium activations and joint campaigns designed to reach supporters on matchdays and through the club’s channels.
Leicester Tigers Chief Executive Officer Andrea Pinchen said: “This is an exciting deal, bringing in a global brand of Kumho’s standing to our club and beginning what we know will be a wonderful relationship.”
Richard Lyons, Managing Director of Kumho Tyre UK, said: “Kumho Tire is delighted to partner with Leicester Tigers and to engage with their loyal fanbase in the UK and around the world.”
Matchday integration typically provides high frequency exposure. Stadium activations and shirt branding increase visibility in broadcast and social content. For Leicester Tigers, aligning with Kumho Tire also brings a multinational brand into club community programmes and promotional touchpoints.
