A Longford-based family business has marked its first anniversary as a First Stop partner by investing €7,000 in new signage – a move credited with boosting footfall and visibility.
McKeon Tyres, which has served the local area for nearly two decades, joined the First Stop network in 2023. One year on, the team has unveiled a refreshed site identity featuring prominent First Stop branding, installed as part of a broader support package offered to partner garages.
Branch manager Erin Duffy said the site refresh has already had a noticeable impact: “The signage has been a gamechanger for us. Visibility has improved, and more customers are stopping by and asking about our services.”
Duffy noted that support from First Stop extends beyond visual branding. “They take care of our digital presence – the website, Google profile, and online bookings. That frees up time for us to focus on the garage and our customers.”
The garage continues to offer a wide range of services, from tyre fitting and diagnostics to 24-hour breakdown cover and fleet support – now backed by the added reach and marketing resources of a national network.
First Stop Ireland’s Territory Manager Celine May praised the collaboration: “McKeon Tyres is exactly the kind of local business we’re proud to support – family-run, community-focused, and ambitious. We look forward to continuing the journey with them.”
