Michelin UK names James Dimmock Commercial Communications Manager

Michelin appoints James Dimmock to lead UK and ROI commercial comms.

Michelin has announced the appointment of James Dimmock as Commercial Communications Manager for the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Dimmock brings more than 20 years of experience within Michelin to the role, having held several senior communications and marketing positions across both global and local operations. Most recently, he served as Social Media and Influencer Manager.

In his new position, Dimmock will lead Michelin's commercial communications activity across the UK and ROI, encompassing PR, social media and influencer management. His remit includes supporting the continued growth of the brand through strategic communications initiatives.

Working within the Michelin communications team, Dimmock will be responsible for shaping the brand's commercial narrative, strengthening relationships with media and content creators, and delivering innovative content across the group's digital platforms.

Commenting on the appointment, John Howe, Managing Director at Michelin UK, said: "James has already made a significant contribution to Michelin's communications activity in the UK and ROI. His deep understanding of our business and products, combined with his strategic and creative approach, makes him ideally placed to lead our commercial communications as we continue to evolve our brand."

Dimmock said: "I am excited to be taking on this new role at Michelin. It is a privilege to continue building on the work we have already achieved and to help drive the next phase of our commercial communications strategy across the UK and ROI."

Dimmock is based at Michelin's Tyre Plc headquarters in Stoke-on-Trent and reports to the Northern European Communications team.
