Mitsubishi Motors in the UK has announced plans to appoint 60 new sales dealer partners nationwide, as it prepares to bring the all-new Outlander PHEV and the latest L200 Series 7 double-cab pickup to market in summer 2026.
The company is currently in advanced negotiations with prospective partners, with formal appointments expected to be confirmed in the coming months. The expanded sales network will sit alongside an existing 105-strong aftersales operation, giving customers comprehensive coverage across key regions throughout the UK.
Mitsubishi says the phased approach to network development is intentional, designed to ensure that only partners who share its commitment to customer service excellence are brought on board. Each dealer will be selected on the basis of its ability to deliver the premium ownership experience that Mitsubishi customers expect.
Sharon Townsend, Head of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, said the response from the trade had exceeded expectations.
"We are absolutely delighted by the overwhelmingly positive response from the dealer community to the new Mitsubishi model range," she said. "The enthusiasm and commitment we've seen from our current partners have been exceptional. In addition, strong customer demand for the latest Mitsubishi vehicles is clearly evident, and this gives us tremendous confidence as we build our presence in the UK market."
The two models set to spearhead the network's launch (the Outlander PHEV and the L200 Series 7) reflect Mitsubishi's dual focus on electrified passenger vehicles and tough, capable commercial offerings. Both are due to go on sale in the summer of 2026.
The newly appointed dealers will have access to Mitsubishi's wider suite of customer support tools, including the brand's renowned reliability credentials, advanced technology features, and comprehensive warranty coverage.
Further announcements on dealer appointments and regional network coverage are anticipated ahead of the official vehicle launch later this year.
