Point S International has launched the inaugural Point S Next Generation Campus in Provence, France (1–5 September). The four-day programme brings together 80 participants from 10 European countries—students, rising managers and newly appointed leaders from family-owned Point S member companies. The goal is to equip third-generation successors with practical leadership, technology and service skills for an automotive aftermarket reshaped by electrification, diagnostics and shifting customer expectations.
“The automotive industry is facing its biggest transformation in history, and traditional business knowledge alone won’t prepare the next generation for what’s ahead… This campus bridges that gap, bringing together young leaders from across Europe to learn, innovate, and build the networks they’ll need to lead our industry through the next decade of change,” said Fabien Bouquet, CEO, Point S International.
Participants fall into three clear groups:
Sessions outline how Point S workshops will evolve from traditional mechanics to EV technicians, integrating advanced diagnostics and connected tyre technologies. The Point S Next Generation Campus is designed to turn these insights into actionable training roadmaps for local centres.
Working groups of ten reimagine store design, customer experience and new service lines. The jury will select one vision for presentation to all European members at the annual Point S conference—turning campus concepts into network-wide discussion points.
Alongside professional translation in formal sessions, sport and social activities foster peer networks across markets. The Point S Next Generation Campus will seed an alumni community for ongoing collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
Recent UK and European developments provide context for the campus focus on leadership and skills:
