Point S UK has agreed a supply partnership with Italian wheel manufacturer OZ Racing, giving more than 400 independent tyre and service businesses access to its alloy wheel ranges. The agreement brings the UK into an existing Point S and OZ Racing relationship covering Germany, Italy and Denmark.

A wider offer for independent workshops

The partnership will make OZ Racing’s MSW and Sparco Wheels ranges available to Point S UK member garages. Both lines are TÜV-certified alloy wheel ranges designed for everyday road car applications, with vehicle coverage intended to support regular workshop demand.

For independent tyre retailers, the agreement adds another product route beyond tyres and routine service work. It also reflects the wider push among garage networks to support members with fitment data, buying access and service diversification.

Tyre News has recently reported on Point S UK’s member growth agenda, including its plan to become the UK’s largest independent automotive service network by 2035 and its appointment of Mick Standbridge to support expansion across the South West.

Quality and fitment support

OZ Racing said the agreement would give Point S UK members access to dedicated supply arrangements and application data. That support is intended to help workshops recommend the correct wheel fitment and reduce avoidable returns.

The Italian manufacturer has more than 55 years of experience in alloy wheel production. The company says it inspects wheels at multiple stages of manufacture and follows Japanese quality standards through its subsidiary presence in Japan.

That manufacturing and inspection focus is relevant for tyre and service centres, where incorrect fitment or product issues can affect bay time, customer confidence and workshop profitability.

Ali Yilmaz, managing director of Point S UK, said the deal aligned with the network’s role in supporting independents. “Point S has always been about giving independent operators a genuine alternative; access to quality products and the support to compete on a level playing field with the wider industry,” he said. “OZ Racing’s commitment to quality at every stage of manufacture aligns perfectly with what our members expect from a supply partner, and we’re pleased to be bringing this relationship to the UK.”

UK joins wider Point S relationship

The UK agreement follows existing supply relationships between OZ Racing and Point S in Germany, Italy and Denmark. For OZ Racing, the deal provides a route into a larger UK independent garage network at a time when retailers are looking to strengthen non-tyre revenue streams.

Eros Saretta, CEO at OZ Racing, said the UK remained an important growth market for the business. “Point S UK is exactly the kind of partner we want to grow with,” he said. “They champion independent businesses, they care about quality, and they have the reach and infrastructure to make a real difference to our visibility across the country.”

The move also sits within a broader aftermarket trend towards better fitment intelligence and digital workshop support. Tyre News has previously covered how accurate vehicle data can reduce costly comebacks in modern tyre fitting, while Auto3iii’s integration with Pro-Align Hunter showed how workshops are digitising alignment and service workflows.

Why it matters for tyre retailers

For Point S members, the supply agreement adds an alloy wheel option from a recognised European manufacturer without requiring each business to build its own supplier relationship. In practice, that could support add-on sales for car tyre customers and help workshops retain wheel-related demand within their own service offer.

The agreement also strengthens Point S UK’s proposition to independents. As pressure continues from national chains, online tyre sales and shifting vehicle technology, network-backed supply access can help smaller operators broaden their offer while keeping local ownership and trading identity.
