PRINX has begun supplying OTR tyres through its European dealer network, moving a programme first unveiled in 2025 into wider commercial distribution following Steinexpo 2026.
German partner Woerlen Reifen presented PRINX OTR products at the quarrying and construction equipment show in Homberg/Nieder-Ofleiden earlier this month, with PRINX saying its large-scale European rollout is now under way.
The ELD12 in 29.5R25 is the specific OTR product currently identified in PRINX's European range. Designed for heavy-duty applications in construction and mining, the tyre is manufactured at the company's facility in Rongcheng, Shandong, China.
PRINX says it is working with its European dealer network on the market introduction, providing technical assistance and sales support as deliveries begin. The company also says initial partial deliveries have produced "strong demand" and "considerable interest" among professional users, although it has not provided order, delivery or dealer-volume figures to quantify that claim.
Woerlen Reifen presented the products at Steinexpo from 2-5 September. The event, held in the MHI basalt quarry in Hesse, is focused on quarrying, raw-materials and construction equipment and attracted 62,965 trade visitors this year, according to the organiser. That provided PRINX with direct exposure to professional users in several of the applications targeted by its OTR programme.
The current rollout follows PRINX's original European OTR launch at Autopromotec in Bologna on 22 May 2025. At that event, the company unveiled the ELD12 in 29.5R25 as its first OTR tyre for Europe and described it as the starting point for a broader programme.
PRINX said at the time that future expansion would include 49-inch, 57-inch and 63-inch giant OTR tyres for mining, construction and material-handling applications. Those sizes were announced as future products, and publicly available information does not yet establish that they are commercially available through the European dealer network.
The manufacturer has linked its OTR development to a €137 million engineering tyre investment at its Green Tire Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park in Rongcheng. Figures released in 2025 put planned annual capacity at 84,000 high-performance engineering radial tyres and 10,000 giant engineering radial tyres, with the development scheduled in phases through December 2029.
The move into dealer distribution therefore represents a further commercial stage for an OTR programme that PRINX first brought to Europe last year, rather than the company's initial entry into the segment.
"Our goal is to establish a reliable, long-term presence in this market segment," said Thomas Wohlgemuth, Managing Director of PRINX Europe.
Confirmation is still awaited on which OTR patterns and sizes beyond the ELD12 are currently orderable in Europe, which markets are receiving the first deliveries and the present status of the previously announced giant OTR programme.
