Davanti has launched Protoura Sport Evo, its new flagship ultra-high-performance summer tyre, with an initial range of 29 fitments covering 17–22-inch rims.
Announced on 2 November, the tyre is available now, according to the company. It targets performance cars and SUVs, following the original Protoura Sport introduced in 2021.
The Protoura Sport Evo product page describes a revised tread pattern and specially engineered silica compound. Davanti says these are designed to improve water dispersion, traction and handling in wet and dry conditions. Integrated rim protection is also included to help protect alloy wheels against kerb damage.
Technical features detailed in the launch announcement include a continuous centre rib, which Davanti links to steering response and high-speed stability, and serrated tread-block edges intended to support braking under load.
The company also says constricted outer noise channels reduce airflow noise to improve cabin comfort. These are manufacturer claims, rather than findings from an independent comparative test.
Protoura Sport Evo carries Davanti’s EV+ Ready designation. The company describes structural changes intended to accommodate electric vehicles’ additional weight, immediate torque delivery and cabin-noise requirements. The designation describes Davanti’s own product positioning.
Davanti claims A-rated wet grip and says development incorporated performance data and feedback from its partnership with the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve racing school in Portugal.
For dealers, the announced coverage provides the starting point for checking individual vehicle applications. Rim diameter alone does not establish suitability: the required tyre size, load index and speed rating also need to match the vehicle.
Dealers should confirm availability for individual specifications with Davanti or their supplier and check the corresponding wet-grip, rolling-resistance and external-noise labels when advising customers. Davanti’s product page provides a specification finder with section, profile, rim, load and speed fields.
