
Rösler Tyre Innovators and Rigdon have reorganised their long-running collaboration, effective 1 October 2025. Under the new model, Rösler will concentrate entirely on retreading earthmover and off-the-road (OTR) tyres, while Rigdon becomes the sole sales and marketing channel for the output. The move aims to sharpen focus, improve speed to market and align resources with rising demand for durable, lower-impact tyre solutions.
Rösler’s remit now centres on production quality, compound know-how and process innovation in heavy OTR retreading. Rigdon will handle customer engagement, pricing, tenders and international distribution for the retreaded Rösler range. The companies said the structure “lets each team do what it does best” and simplifies decision-making for fleet and industrial buyers.
OTR customers prioritise uptime, casing life and predictable support. A single production specialist paired with a dedicated commercial arm can shorten lead times and make availability more transparent. In practice, buyers should see clearer product information, steadier supply and faster responses on technical queries, particularly for quarrying, construction and mining operations.
German and European retreaders are retooling for growth as circular economy requirements and CO₂ targets push reuse over raw material consumption. Tyre News recently covered Rigdon’s investment in passenger car retreading capacity, signalling confidence in remanufacture across segments.
Rigdon will be the named point of contact for tenders, framework agreements and day-to-day orders of Rösler OTR retreads. Rösler will continue to manage casing inspection, repair and mould-cure retreading technologies at its facilities. The companies indicate the separation should help them scale internationally without diluting either technical or commercial focus.
Retreading extends casing life and reduces raw material use compared with new tyres, an increasingly relevant factor in environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting. European circular economy measures continue to favour reuse and remanufacture, which aligns with the intent behind the Rösler–Rigdon model. Buyers balancing total cost of ownership with environmental metrics may find the clarified route to market helpful.
