New Trelleborg TM800 PowerFlex boosts grip & cuts compaction.

Trelleborg Tires has expanded its agricultural line-up with the TM800 PowerFlex, a Very High Flexion (VF-PFO) radial designed to improve productivity both in the field and on the road. Independent test data suggest measurable gains in traction, soil protection and fuel efficiency—key metrics for growers facing tight margins and sustainability targets.

Key construction features

  • VF-PFO carcass tolerates greater sidewall flex, allowing lower pressures or heavier loads without compromising stability.
  • ProgressiveTraction® double-step lugs generate extra bite while shedding mud more effectively.
  • Central road-inspired rib enhances directional stability and steering response during transport.
  • Integrated QR code links operators to inflation tables and technical support in the field.

Road and lifecycle benefits

Tests on asphalt showed a 6 % cut in rolling resistance, translating into reduced fuel burn and emissions. Combined with revised compounds, the design is expected to extend service life by up to 20 %. Trelleborg backs the casing with a 5,000-hour tread-wear warranty for customers who register through its Premium Care portal.

Sizes and availability

The TM800 PowerFlex debuts in 650/65 R38 and 540/65 R28, targeting mid- to high-horsepower tractors. Four additional fitments will follow later this year to broaden OEM and replacement coverage.

Industry view

“With the TM800 PowerFlex, we’ve re-imagined what farmers can expect from a tyre,” said Luca Sabelli, Brand Director, Trelleborg Tires. “It’s the result of our deep understanding of real working conditions, where product innovation and real field results deliver practical benefits every day.”
