
Vaculug has appointed Nick Hermitage as Operations Manager – OTR South, following a period of strong growth in its off-the-road tyre division. Hermitage will lead daily operations at the company’s new OTR Centre of Excellence in the South East, covering logistics, foam filling and tyre pressing.
Hermitage joins Vaculug with over 22 years of experience in the tyre industry, specialising in OTR and solid tyre operations. His role at the South East depot includes responsibility for day-to-day management and supporting the company’s ongoing expansion in specialist tyre services.
Alan Robin, from Vaculug, said: “This is an incredibly exciting time at Vaculug, and we are fortunate to welcome Nick to the OTR team. His extensive experience and deep knowledge of both OTR and solid tyre operations will be instrumental as we build on our significant investments in the division. I am confident Nick will make a strong contribution to our growth and I wish him every success in his new role.”
Vaculug continues to expand its OTR operations, with the new Centre of Excellence serving as a hub for specialist services. The appointment signals further investment in the company’s OTR capabilities to support fleets, dealers and end-users across the region.
