Vaculug has reshaped its senior line-up to keep pace with rising Off-The-Road (OTR) demand and regional customer needs. Long-serving managers Alan Robin and Robert Baxter move into broader leadership posts, while tyre industry specialist Scott McIntosh joins to deepen support across Scotland.

Growth drives leadership reshuffle

Vaculug’s OTR business has expanded steadily in earthmover and quarry segments, prompting additional investment and new reporting lines.

Alan Robin to head OTR

After six years in the OTR team and more than two decades in the earthmover sector, Alan Robin is promoted to Head of OTR. In the role he will guide planned capital spending and service improvements across the division. Operations Director Michael Evans said Robin’s record “reflects his commitment and proven expertise” and will help the team exceed customer expectations.

Robert Baxter steps up in Scotland

Robert Baxter becomes Head of Operations and OTR for Scotland, taking charge of day-to-day service delivery and fleet support across the region. The promotion recognises nearly five years with Vaculug and 40 years in the tyre trade.

Scott McIntosh joins as Regional Operations Manager

Scott McIntosh is appointed Regional Operations Manager for Scotland. He brings extensive experience in tyre logistics and will work alongside Baxter to expand Vaculug’s footprint north of the border.

Next steps for the OTR division

Vaculug says the refreshed leadership team is committed to working collaboratively to accelerate growth and innovation within the OTR division, aiming to strengthen operations, expand market reach and enhance customer value.
