The inaugural RTX Northern Ireland will take place on 15–16 April 2026 at the Eikon Exhibition Centre in Lisburn, bringing together leading vehicle manufacturers, suppliers and fleet operators for a comprehensive showcase of road transport industry innovation.
RTX Northern Ireland is poised to establish itself as an essential calendar event for HGV fleet operators across the region when it debuts this spring. The brand-new business tradeshow will feature extensive indoor and outdoor exhibition spaces, positioning itself as a one-stop destination for fleet-related products, services and expertise.
The event has already secured strong industry backing, with a growing roster of major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) confirmed to exhibit. DAF, Fruehauf, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Renault Trucks, Thermo King, Thompsons UK and Volvo will all be showcasing their latest vehicles, trailers and technological innovations.
Beyond the major manufacturers, fleet operators will have the opportunity to explore cutting-edge solutions across technology, tyres and equipment from a diverse range of industry suppliers and dealerships. Confirmed exhibitors include Assured Performance Ireland, Brigade Electronics, Fastview360, Flowtech Ireland, Granco Trucks and Hankook Tyres, with additional companies expected to announce their participation in the coming weeks.
Complementing the exhibition floor, the Knowledge Zone will deliver a two-day programme of expert-led sessions addressing the most pressing challenges facing HGV operators today. Topics will span compliance, skills development and driver shortages, road safety and decarbonisation—providing fleet decision-makers with valuable insights and practical guidance.
For those seeking a more hands-on experience, the Ride & Drive programme will enable visitors to test drive a selection of the newest vehicles on site, subject to holding the appropriate licence.
The event has been specifically designed with HGV fleet operators in mind, offering not just exhibition space but also a relaxed networking environment where attendees can connect with industry peers and forge valuable business relationships.
RTX Northern Ireland is organised by the team behind the established Road Transport Expo, held annually in Warwickshire, England, and RTX Scotland, which launched successfully in Glasgow last year. The RTX portfolio is set to expand further with RTX Ireland scheduled to launch in Dublin in 2027.
"We are very much looking forward to bringing the popular RTX format to Northern Ireland this spring and have been delighted with the industry support we've received," said Vic Bunby, Show Director of RTX Northern Ireland. "As with all our RTX events, the show will provide an excellent mix of quality exhibitors, knowledgeable conference sessions and a relaxed networking environment.
"We can't wait to welcome visitors in April, so please do register for your free ticket to join us."
