Autogem joins TyreSafe network to boost TPMS awareness across UK workshops.

TyreSafe, the UK's leading tyre safety charity, has announced a new partnership with Autogem Invicta, which joins the organisation as a Commercial Supporter to help strengthen road safety through enhanced tyre and vehicle safety awareness.

A Heritage of Technical Excellence

Autogem's roots stretch back to the 1960s, during which time the company has established itself as more than just a parts supplier. Rather than focusing purely on transactions, Autogem has built its reputation on creating lasting, trusted partnerships with workshops throughout the UK and internationally. The company's award-winning approach centres on delivering exceptional service, technical expertise and tailored programmes designed to help customers improve efficiency, develop new revenue streams and strengthen customer engagement.

Leading the Way in TPMS

A key element of Autogem's offering is its comprehensive TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) Programme, which has been running since 2007. Through innovations including the i-sensor® range and extensive diagnostic and replacement solutions, Autogem now supports more than 4,500 workshops, providing coverage for over 99% of vehicles fitted with Direct TPMS across Europe. The programme is reinforced by extensive training, dedicated technical support and ongoing education, ensuring workshops remain fully equipped to meet increasing TPMS demand.

The importance of TPMS has grown considerably since it became mandatory on all new passenger cars from November 2014, alongside MOT requirements introduced in January 2012 for vehicles already fitted with the technology. With millions of vehicles now operating with ageing sensors, issues such as battery failures, corrosion and environmental wear are creating mounting safety risks whilst simultaneously presenting clear opportunities for preventative maintenance and servicing.

Autogem's philosophy aligns closely with TyreSafe's objectives: improving understanding, encouraging proactive maintenance and supporting best practice throughout the automotive sector.

Supporting Future Talent

Beyond its technical leadership, Autogem has also earned recognition for championing the next generation of industry professionals. The company's "Under Pressure" contest—an annual competition celebrating and challenging young tyre technicians—has received support from TyreSafe, whose representatives have served as judges on the panel, reinforcing a shared commitment to skills, standards and safety.

Industry Response

Commenting on the partnership, Prashant Chopra, Managing Director at Autogem Invicta, said: "We are delighted to be working with TyreSafe as a Commercial Supporter. Road safety sits at the heart of what we do, and TPMS plays a vital role in keeping vehicles safe, efficient and roadworthy. By combining education, training and the right tools, we can help workshops deliver better outcomes for motorists whilst supporting safer journeys for everyone."

Stuart Lovatt, Chair of TyreSafe, added: "We are very pleased to welcome Autogem Invicta as a Commercial Supporter of TyreSafe. Their long-standing commitment to training, technical excellence and TPMS awareness closely aligns with our mission to improve tyre safety on UK roads. Partnerships like this play a vital role in helping us educate both the motor trade and road users about the importance of correct tyre pressure and well-maintained TPMS systems."

TyreSafe looks forward to working closely with Autogem Invicta to promote tyre safety awareness, support industry education and help motorists understand the importance of correct tyre pressure and TPMS maintenance.
