Wheely-Safe has established Wheely-Safe Pty Ltd to manage customer engagement, distribution and technical support across Australia and New Zealand. The new entity, announced on 12 August 2025, will be led by Director George Priest and handle all enquiries, orders and aftersales. Wheely-Safe says the move responds to rising regional demand for its wheel loss detection, hub temperature monitoring and intelligent TPMS solutions.

Why a Dedicated ANZ Operation

Wheely-Safe says demand in Australia and New Zealand has grown as fleets seek earlier warnings on wheel security, temperature spikes and tyre pressure loss. Priest will oversee day-to-day operations, while strategic leadership remains with the UK management team. The local presence is intended to speed response times and align support with regional operating conditions.

“This strategic expansion enables us to provide localised service and support, ensuring we’re closer to our customers in the ANZ region,” says Gary Broadfield, Group Managing Director. “It marks a key milestone in our commitment to long-term growth and customer success in emerging markets across the Southern Hemisphere.”

What the Technology Does

Wheely-Safe’s wheel loss solution places paired sensors on a bracket spanning two wheel nuts to detect loosening. The same sensors track hub and brake area temperatures to warn of potential fire risks—highly relevant for hot operating climates. Its intelligent TPMS uses valve-mounted sensors to flag under-inflation and slow leaks. The company says many tyre-related roadside issues stem from pressure problems, and real-time alerts help prevent unplanned downtime.

Wheely-Safe’s multi award-winning technology combines wheel loss detection, hub temperature monitoring, and intelligent tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Connected Data for Fleet Control

The latest system transmits alerts to the driver and to transport managers simultaneously. That connected view supports quicker triage, targeted checks and better scheduling, helping fleets keep vehicles on the road.

ANZ heavy-vehicle regulators encourage the adoption of safety technologies and telematics to reduce risk and improve compliance.
